GuardKite’s pricing is based on the number of cloud resources scanned by checks each day. Scanning a resource multiple times, by multiple checks within the same day still counts as one resource. Your overall costs depend on the size of your cloud resources. All resources are counted together, regardless of whether they are in one AWS account or multiple accounts under your GuardKite account.
No, using GuardKite to scan your AWS resource configurations will not incur additional costs on your AWS bill. We use a read-only IAM role for cross-account access, ensuring that our scanning process is cost-free. GuardKite may recommend enabling certain AWS services to enhance your account security, such as using AWS CloudTrail for comprehensive logging and monitoring. Please be aware that enabling such configuration may incur additional costs.
